Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock Programme
Bangladesh is an agricultural country. About eighty percent of the people of this country are directly and indirectly dependent on agriculture. If this country is to improve, agriculture and farmers must be developed. Considering the agricultural area, this area is playing a positive role in the country in the production of rice, vegetables, fish and livestock. But it is a sad fact that modern agricultural technology has not spread to the desired level in the area, insufficient knowledge of farmers in the production of agricultural products, lack of availability of good seeds, excessive use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, wastage of water due to uncontrolled irrigation system, Agricultural production is decreasing day by day due to traditional methods of fish farming and animal husbandry. The organization realizes that if new agricultural technology is extended in the area, agricultural production will increase as well as the socio-economic status and quality of life of the farmers will improve. In light of that, the organization took initiatives to implement agriculture, fisheries and livestock activities from 2014.
The organization has been implementing agri-fishery and livestock activities in Soagazi, Bagmara and Nimsar branches since 2014 with the help of PKSF to the organized community.
